Opportunity Knocks

About 150 years ago, cities around the world started to build subway systems, to provide its people and businesses with more opportunities, while unclogging the traffic arteries.

Nowhere in the world this sense of expansive opportunity is more palpable than in New York City, which is home to the subway system with the most stations in the world.

That’s why I embarked on this project, to photograph each one of the 472 subway stations of New York City.
